Museum in the “Alte Schmitte” in Sundern-Eslohe
Franz Miederhoff founded a small forge in Endorf in 1896. In 1987, the company moved from its previous location in Endorf to Sundern. The previous company building stood empty for the time being.
The basis of today’s museum were the existing objects that were collected on the occasion of Endorf’s 800th anniversary in 1992.
Over the decades, a museum worth seeing has been created. There are also exhibits from over 100 years of Miederhoff company history.
